About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

  1. They don’t quite look happy to be there. “Pa, we’re not in Kansas anymore.” LOL! Thanks for the photo, Bo!

  2. LOL – those dudes could use some Head & Shoulders. 🙂

  3. Very thought provoking anachronism.

  4. I have a feeling they don’t fit in there. Hehe.

  5. LOL Great shot and made me smile. From this perspective shot, they look very tall… and stern.

  6. This is just too precious..especially with the snow. Great find!!!!

  7. I love the colors in this statue. Normally statues have very little color. The suitcase really adds to the monument.

  8. They are so stoic in all that snow. . .

  9. That’s too cool, thanks for sharing this !!
