About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

    Nicely done. brrrrr.

  2. We watched the football game a week ago and saw all the snow during the game, somewhere in WI. Not as much as here, but plenty just the same — makes for some great photos. I have taken over 300 in the past few days. Just need time to post a few.

  3. I like it! The resiliency of nature. Great title!

  4. The branch almost looks like a bird’s claw or foot, holding on to the ice.

    Very nice. 🙂

Nice title. It makes me wish for the buds to start swelling, though!

  6. Love the photo. Ah, spring will be here soon.

I like the ice, good work

  8. Barbara, did you try to boost the contrast on this one? I think it would be phenomenal if you could get it to where you could actually see through that ice…it’s such a great close up!

  9. A look at this is almost like a drink of water.

  10. i’d like a nice bowl of shaved ice right about now, with condensed milk
