Autumn Blessing ยฉ2013 Bo Mackison

One Autumn day, Aubrey entered my world, and opened my eyes and heart in a brand new way. I guess I am now officially a member of the grammarrazi – and that doesn’t mean I’ve joined the grammar police!

Such a blissful moment, becoming a grandmother. Ah, dear granddaughter, I am smitten.

About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

    Congratulations Bo
    Infinitely precious moment-
I can see by your beautiful eyes
you will cherish this priceless gift
You will be a wonderful grandmother
    I think holding this newborn
    nestled against your cheek
is like the loving finger of God
    tenderly stroking your face
and whispering, I know your grateful heart
    and you’re welcome.

Kimberley, I am happy to hear that a smitten grandma is the best, because I am definitely in that category. And yes, I dream of the smell of that little head when she’s not in my arms. Ahhhh.

Oh Robin, she’s three days old, and has barely opened her eyes when she’s in my arms, and yet I am totally mesmerized by her presence. Unbelievable. Truly. Yes, I already see the world in a new way, and the journey has only begun. And, yes, I;m a proud member of the grammarazzi already!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
