About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

  1. An excellent still life in its own right. Abstract yet not. Open for interpretation. The wheelbarrow perhaps holds a clue as one handle is not painted and the other is painted red. 🙂 🙂 🙂

  2. nice frame

  3. Neat image Bo, I don’t have a clue, but I still like it !!

  4. This is a great shot. You could go anywhere with the interpretation. Perhaps save this one until post election, then turn it into bumperstickers. You can sell them to the losing side. (Pretty much all of us :)).

  5. Hummmm the color scheme? 😉

  6. Too cool. An excellent shot. When I was young and did manual labor I might have blown this one up and put it on my bedroom wall.

  7. This is a wonderful image. The composition is perfect, and the colors also. And I love the openness to interpretation.

  8. Yes, I loved the color scheme, too, and the composition. Definitely not bogus.
