Corncob Sculpture

Corn Sculpture Β©2008 Bo Mackison

You never quite know what you are going to see while driving down the highway in Iowa. Near Iowa City, I came across this interesting metal sculpture of – yes, of course – a yellow cob of corn in a green husk.

Because of popular request, I have asked Robin of Bountiful Healing to share her links for interesting vegetables and fruits, too. Always aiming to please and keep the customers happy.

So, yes, Robin has graciously supplied me with the site to her “veg porn” as it is lovingly called.

First the asparagus – you have to look for the second photo.

And if you still are curious, then there are flowers that also got in the act.

So there…enjoy. Robin has a lot of other great photos to see, so while you are there, explore a bit.

About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. 12. So you call this veggie porn. Where is the other veggie porn at?

I think it is funny to have a sculpture of a n ear of corn, even if it is in Iowa.

  13. Robin has graciously supplied me with the sites to her veg porn.
