This pink and yellow lupine was in the front garden of one of the Wright homes we toured in early June. Not only was it drenched with raindrops, it was also the hiding places of two tiny hearts. Though more commonly seen in its blue color, the lupine is also found in pinks, yellows, whites, and in mixed colors like this pink and yellow lupine.

Very pretty!
Thanks. I love the two colors, intertwined.
You have an amazing eye. I would probably have missed that. Lovely little hearts. 🙂
They were very tiny. Luckily I noticed them through my macro lens. What a fun find that was!
Bo, those two hearts must have been just for you and Sherpa, for your anniversary weekend. How beautiful. 🙂
Joanne, I photographed these flowers on that weekend, and thought to myself “how appropriate” 🙂
What a good eye to see these little hearts.
