Looking for Green

Now This is Green

How much greener can you get?

Maybe there isn’t green grass yet, nor green trees, but I felt the need to post a green anything. I found this big green guy in my archives.

About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

  1. Exquisite detail…and what gorgeous color. WOW!

  2. Beautiful photo and beautiful snake!
Yup, it’s pretty hard to find green right now. Don’t have much here in southern Michigan yet either.

  3. It’s a spring snake! What a pleasant looking fellow!

  4. Gandalf says:

You definitel found green. Is he one of the dudes that St. Patrick missed?

  5. Ooooh…very cool shot. What a great color.

  6. Wow. He’s very green. Great shot, Bo. 🙂

  7. Wow! This is not the green “fellow” I want but a nice photo.

  8. Oops – now I KNOW what it means to be green!

Not much of a snake lover — but, this is an excellent photograph.

  10. Such a gorgeous creature, and your shot of him (her?) and the treatment with the muted colors is wonderful.
