Rotunda, Wisconsin Capitol © 2007

A early morning trip to the Wisconsin State Capitol Building in downtown Madison yielded some interesting photographs and designs. This was a warm place to be on another snowy, blowy, cold winter’s day.

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. 1. I love the light in this one! So warm and inviting…

  2. Absolutly beautiful!

  3. Lovely details. The light is excellent.

  4. Thanks to you all: This Capitol could provide 365 days worth of photos, it’s that beautiful. Hey! Don’t give me ideas. Hmm. Wonder if I could get a grant?
