About Bo Mackison

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

  1. is it summer yet?

  2. looks less than inviting

  3. That is a awesome shot! I like how the lines run and contrast with the clouds above. What are those bulb/balloon looking things? I haven’t been on a cruise ship. Neat.

I agree with what fotokew asked: “Is it summer yet?”

    I long for warm days!!!!!

  4. Hi, I’m a friend of Robin’s from Bountiful Healing and Bogs of Ohio. I read the interchange about feet and sandals over there and came by to say hi. I really appreciate your and Robin’s photography and quotes together. Very pithy. I particularly like this shot of the empty cruise ship, aside from the juxtaposition of the linear fabric against the railings and deck, it speaks volumes about the far-reaching effects of the current economy. When Carnival can’t fill its ships, something’s really wrong.

  5. stripey. reminds me of candy stripers

  6. beautiful shot! love the lines
