On our evening walk through the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum, we didn’t see much in the way of green, but the skies were quite blue, and the pond provided a lovely reflection of early springtime.

I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. 1. I love those ponds just as much this time of year as in mid summer. There’s always something either going on or about to happen. That’s a nice shot!

Nice shot with the reflective ponds. I love ponds any time of the year to wander around and photograph. 🙂

  3. There’s something so soothing about the soft browns and blues of early spring. Beautiful!!!

  4. I really do like the reflection, appears as a picture within a picture.
