Not my usual photograph, but I was quite taken by the beauty of the Arboretum’s Visitor Center – the golds in the late autumn garden contrasting with the deep blues in the sky and the simple lines of the building. It was a gorgeous, late autumn day, the kind of day you tuck in your memory. And a perfect memory it will be when the snows of winter begin to fly.
It’s a lovely photograph. I love the way the sky is reflected in the roof of the building and the way the building blends in with its surroundings.
It really is a lovely building, built to fit its surroundings.
I’ve always thought that the Arboretum did a nice job of blending the Visitor Center with the surroundings. Your photo proves that. Great shot and angle.
It’s really an Arboretum kind of building, isn;t it? One of my favorite places — the Arb.
Beautiful sky.
Oh yes, that sky was a beauty that late November morning.
Ah…the colors, the colors……very, very nice, Bo.
It takes a certain kind of person to be so in love with these colors. Gorgeous aren;t they, the golds and browns and blues.
Actually there are various shades of blues and browns in this photo making it quite striking.
You are so right, Preston. There is a huge variety of colors in this bit of land – very striking!
Very nice, very nice. Like to know where you spend your time.
