Milwaukee gave a little added shine to her breweries in celebration of National Beer Day earlier this month. It was the 75th anniversary of the return of legal beer in the United States – when Congress passed a law decreeing that 3.2 beer was not an intoxicating beverage and was therefore legal to serve. This was the beginning of the end of the Prohibition Era.
