follow Wisconsin has a set of 107 roads covering 600 miles throughout the state designated at Rustic Roads.

https://auracareclinic.com/dermaplaning/ Rustic Road 84 is in Jefferson County, southwest of Madison. It is only a little over 2 miles long and ffollows the wandering Bark River. One of its features is a natural artesian drinking fountain located about midway between Rock River Road and County Highway N.

follow link The water is bubbling forcefully out of a jerry-rigged metal pipe – cold, clear, refreshing. I wished we had brought a couple of empty gallon jugs to fill. Next time I head to that area I’m coming home with some Wisconsin spring drinking water.

  1. I love those springs! We have one near here and there is always someone stopped there filling a water jug. There is even a body of local lore that gives the water special characteristics and many people use the water for most of their drinking requirements.

  2. Oooh, I saw this on Flickr and really loved it. Looks so incredibly refreshing on a crisp summer-to-fall day. It’s also a great photo for honoring water.

  3. Love how you’ve captured the water flowing. Wonderful image. WOW!

  4. Oh wow! Love the water splash capture! We have springs here that are piped out into water wells. But they do not look like this! Gorgeous capture. 🙂

  5. Makes me thirsty. Pretty cool how your camera caught the contour of the water flowing into the cistern.

  6. Looks like it is cold and refreshing. And free?

  7. Yes, the water is free. People bring their jugs and fill up at the side of the road.
