I love the effect…it is a beautiful photo.
This feels like a portrait of the past – 1930s or 40s. I wonder who lived there; what were their joys & sorrows; where are they now? I also like the placement of the snow pile. It won’t be long before the snow – like the 1930s – is a mere image on film (or a bunch of electrons nicely arranged).
I’m not sure I love the peach color of the sky but I’m loving the effect the sepia had on the barn.
Oh, I like it, I like it! I’m fond of sepia. The photo is great with that old barn, shed, snow drift and tree. For me, I’d frame this one because of the subject and the sepia. I’d use old barn wood for a frame too. Wonderful, Barbara.
Barbara…I love all of your latest photographs! I agree with burstmode this one has an antique feel about it.
I also loved the black and white elephant photo too!
I have always liked your work, and I think you are just getting better and better!
Keep on shooting and creating…
I really like the texture in the sky and the framing of the shot. The sepia tone really adds to the picture as a whole.
I like the sepia treatment of this. It seems to bring out more of the character of the old buildings.
Oh this is just LOVELY Barbara – this image is just bursting with a story!
Stunning shot! WOW Love the Sepia!
I have a tendency to like sepia photos, but you’ve found a perfect shot for the medium. Very impressive.
truly lovely photo… xoxo nita

Your probably not going to believe me but I’ve came back to this about four times…. The trick is I usually don’t like sepia, there are exceptions of course and this is one of them, or else why would I have came back so often? This however is really beautiful.
another beautiful shot. love the colors
