https://www.completerehabsolutions.com/contact/ This big guy was one of only a few animals outside at the zoo on this chilly winter morning, though he didn’t seem to mind the 27˙F. weather. While I took his picture, he fed himself his breakfast hay swinging his trunk up and down.

go site I was so amazed at the dexterity of his trunk, I checked out a few facts about elephants on Wikipedia. This is an Asian elephant – only one “finger” around the lip of his trunk. (The African elephant has two.) And what I found most amazing – scientists estimate there are between 40,000 and 100,000 muscles in an elephant’s trunk. The trunk is such a finely tuned instrument, an elephant can as easily pick up a single blade of grass as he can tear down a medium sized tree. Check out the facts about elephants on Wiki and you’ll come away amazed. Guaranteed.

Pink Snow

Pink Snow

https://www.thephysicaltherapyadvisor.com/mta/ Today is one of those days that needed a little extra color – well, not a little extra – it needed a lot of extra color. And so here is my solution.

https://www.grupoursa.com/prom/ I finally opened a Picnik account with Flickr so I could play with my photographs. And that it what I have been mostly doing – playing. I change things around until I find something that appeals to me, but I never post any of these because – well, because they seem pretty weird and very manipulated, and of course they are.

source Today I decided that it is okay to play with my photographs and have fun with them and even share them some of the time. Why not? So when I discovered this above creation – why, I couldn’t pass up a teal and orange plow contrasted with pink snow. And so I am sharing, just because.

go Maybe it will make you groan and shake your head, but maybe it will make you smile a bit, too. I hope it’s the latter. Anyway – now that I’ve enjoyed my pink wintry scene, I’ll be on my way. 🙂

Rusty

Wisconsin Plow

https://anthonynewmancamps.com/basketball-camps/ We in Wisconsin love our farm plows and they never seem to get too old or go out of fashion. Once our favorite plow becomes obsolete in the field, it is transformed into a yard decoration. Some get painted in shiny black or silver; others go au natural with a lovely rust patina. Sometimes they are centered in gravel circles with boulders circling the edges. Sometimes they are the centerpiece for flowers.

https://rmscherubimhealthcare.com/contact/ And decorative farm equipment is certainly more popular these days than pink flamingos or those freaky gnomes – though you still can see those around if you are observant.

go What are the favored yard decorations in your little part of the world?
