Bridge NYC

go If you saw the film, ‘Naked City,’ you saw this historic bridge – the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City. Even when the bridge worked overtime as the locale for a movie shoot, it still continued to carry 100,000 cars and 90,000 subway riders across the East River every weekday.

https://www.dentistcorpuschristitexas.com/dental-sealants/ The movie depicted the murder of a pretty, but thieving young model, and then detailed the efforts of the cops to sniff out her killers. Eventually they unraveled the case, culminating with a classic chase sequence across this bridge from Manhattan’s Lower East Side into Brooklyn.

https://www.fogliandpartners.com/contatti/ This gate was seen in downtown Indianapolis, found across the street from Monument Circle and Indiana’s State Capitol Building. Yes, I know that the intricate metalwork has a traditional pineapple pattern, but I prefer to imagine it as the monkey king gate. Can you make out the monkeys’ faces, each one with his arms curved over his head, crowns atop each head in the center of each panel?

What happy monkeys!

The space within becomes the reality of the building. ~ Frank Lloyd Wright

Another urban photo from Indiana. This glass structure spans a main thoroughfare in downtown Indianapolis and is the city’s performing arts center. This photograph was taken on an early Sunday morning when the streets were deserted.

Maybe a Lake View Wasn’t Such a Good Idea?

This tree took root on the edge of a rocky precipice. Will there be a plunge into Lake Michigan in its near future?

What better way to celebrate my birthday than with a photograph of — this? Looks like some sort of celebration to me. I’m not sure exactly what kind of party the establishment had in mind, but I’ll use the garden art for birthday candles. I might be able to match a gee-gaw for each year, but it will be close.
