Today was the opening day of the Tubac Festival of Arts in Tubac, Arizona. After yesterday’s windy day during set-up for the show, the weather for the first day of the five day art festival was mild and warm, and of course, sunny.
One hundred and seventy artists from throughout the country set up their art booths along the streets of Tubac, amidst the artist colony’s galleries, shops, restaurants, and studios. Clydesdales pull trolleys throughout the town since no cars are allowed on the streets during the fair.
I was lucky enough to get a booth placement near one of the trolley stops (at the corner of Hesselbarth Lane and Tubac Road). What magnificent animals they are! (You can see my booth to the left of the horses, look for the the white and green sign.)
Seeded Earth Studio will be at the Tubac Festival of Art for the remainder of the show, February 10 through 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Stop and say hello!

Great location! Sure wish I could visit your booth!
Yep. I’d love it some day, if you walked up to my art booth and introduced yourself! How awesome would that be… 🙂
I love the idea the town has of not permitting cars while the fair is on. The Clydesdales are a really beautiful alternative to cars!
Look at all of that sunshine, and not a flake of snow in sight! You must feel like you are in heaven, Bo. I know how much you were looking forward to this. 🙂
The roads are very narrow, and filled with lots and lots of people. No room for cars, no room at all! And yes, Joanne, there is so much sunshine, I can hardly believe it myself!
Your booth looks fantastic! Glad one of us is visiting somewhere warm. It was -11 air temp here this morning and took me forever to warm up! Have fun with it, Bo. You are out there living the art.
Thanks, QM. The art fair is lots of work, but lots of fun, too! Yep, “living the art”. I love the sound of that phrase!
The Clydesdales are beautiful horses, but so BIG!
Your booth looks great. Lucky you on getting such a good location. Wishing you lots of success, Bo! 🙂
Your booth looks GREAT! Such an eye-catching image (large, bright daisy-like piece) to draw folks over to see your beautiful work!
Hey!!!!!! LOVE seeing your booth up and running, Bo! Beautiful horses, lovely place, ARIZONA, what more could you possibly ask for!!! We’re moving this weekend so I’ve been MIA but will be blogging steadily after this week. XO
