Origami Cardinal © 2010 Bo Mackison
A trip to my local Botanical Gardens to see the Holiday Show. I was thrilled to see that there were origami birds tucked in dozens of branches – doves, cardinals, blue jays, even a bald eagle. This bright red cardinal is one of my favorites. Third in the series.
Cardinals adorn my Christmas tree every year. This is definitely, hands-down, my favorite as well. Thanks, Bo!!! This is good stuff!
Someone had a terrific idea, tucking those small, pretty surprises into the show!
These are terrific. Especially love the detail of his little clawed/hooked feet. Kudos to the origami artists (and you)!!!
Isn’t it something how such things catch our fancy? Can actually bring a smile to our faces.
They must have been Cardinal fans.
How enjoyable the series of Origami birds is! I think this is my favorite Origami piece, but have enjoyed all of your photos.
This one is my favorite. 🙂
Aww, I love this. So elegant and amazing perched on that branch. I adore this. It sort of reminds of a phoenix also. Go Cardinals! 🙂
