…share some of your sun. I’ve been sharing tropical photos most of the week. Now back to reality for awhile.
This blog brings you another weather bulletin. In case you’re curious, people in Wisconsin tend to be quite preoccupied with their weather. -6˚F today, -38˚F wind chill. The weathermen refer to this as “Bitterly cold. Frostbite warning.” I won’t even predict conditions for tonight. All I know, I’m staying inside. Not even the perfect photo could get me out there.
This photo was taken during the last cold spell when it was only 0˚.
Owen Conservation Park, Madison, WI
I like the photo but not the sub-zero stuff. We were supposed to have that today, but it ended up at 37º. (It’s not an exact science.)
I love that tree!
There’s a kind of spooky or sad feeling to that shot, very good. Of course, it could also be my own SAD settling in, we’ve had a very gray winter in MI with skies just like that:)
Nice photo but a bit depressing. Not enough snow. I am a bit of a contrarian on the snow issue.
beautiful,in its own way, I am more for the tropical, check my pics if you want a little dose of sunshine
I like this photo but would prefer to dwell in the rain forest. As I told you I feel guilty for complaining about the “cold weather” here…it is 65 degress here now. 🙂
Of course, in August when it is 99 and humid like a rain forest remind me that i do love it here!
No Photo for me 🙁
I guess my Internet provider is acting up :S
Sniff……
I like the cold for a short while.
The crispy, fresh one.
But then I need warmth again 😉
montucky ~ can’t trust the weather for anything!
bookbabie ~ I haven’t seen the sun in weeks, either. Ugh! I may never take a pic of a blue sky again…
kukiemarie ~ yes, the tropics do have their strong points
gypsy ~ it is ONLY cold if it’s below freezing, no make that below zero. 🙂
Nicole ~ I’m a big fan of the 4 seasons, even if I c/o the weather ALL the time.
beautiful snapshot of frozen nature
Now I can see the picture – Internet is back – yeah 😀
(But with it also some blogs disapeared out of my Google reader – argh)
