Seems like my first Saturday at home in ten weeks should call for a celebration. In honor of summer and sunshine and flowers and July and family and celebrations, here is a photo I’ve experimented with. Having some fun in the sun, this is one psychedelic coneflower.

sometimes processing gives such artistic results, like here
Thanks, Chantal. Sees to be quite popular. How fun is that!
Wow….takes me back to my tie-dye days, Bo. Love the way you experimented here!
Yep, black lights, tie dyes, a little incense and Led Zeppelin. Memories, hmm? 🙂
Very cool effect!! Love the effervescent color and light!
Thanks, Marcie. Don;t think it;s going to become my signature photography, but it’s fun to play some of the time. It was a popular card at my last art fair…
Love the effect created here.
A little bit of experimenting some times goes a long way. 🙂
Wow–it’s the 60s colors–a black light cone flower! Beautiful!
Ah, the 60s. What a wild decade that was! It was THAT decade, right? 🙂
pretty awesome. Looks like the gas burners on a stove.
Gas burners, Gandalf? You have a way with similes! 🙂
I really like this – it woke me up this morning 🙂
I don’t think I can think of a better way to greet the new morn than with this colorful fellow! 🙂
