By the time you’ve had a few drinks in this bar, you will certainly be seeing red. When you’ve had enough singing and swaying, find the white door and you can escape the revelry with a walk along the deck and watch the ocean’s furious waves crash into the ship.
On this day, The Piano Bar on the cruise ship Carnival Glory was unusually empty because of rough seas with 45 mph cross winds and 18 foot waves. No one was drinking that day. Almost everyone was either in bed if they were queasy, or in the Casino if they could stand.
But camera in hand, I was doing none of the above. I was photographing the numerous bars and taking macros of the fruit and other such stuff.
such amazing red colors! WOW
Looks like a crazy place! Too bad about the rough seas.
Nice lines Barbara….

Wow! What a fabulous shot! Man, am I glad I wasn’t on a boat on that day. I’d have been heaving everywhere.
(Sorry…TMI?)
Really cool shot! I love all the lights and colors.
Great shot! I don’t want to think about the rough sea though.
Play it again, Sam…
That is quite a room! I’m glad you captured it, the lines, the neon. Pretty awesome.
