Some see these beauties every Sunday morning. Others of us have to be satisfied with a photograph. Christchurch Cathedral, a short walk from Nassau’s Main Street, is a haven from typical tourist fare. The original Gothic structure was built in 1861. Besides its beautiful stained glass windows, it has embedded stone memorials and epitaphs of church members – civic leaders and seafarers alike – that cover the church’s interior walls.

They are beautiful!
How beautiful! I’m glad you took your camera on that trip!
That is a stonker of a picture, stain glass can be quite hard if the light is too strong but that one is just right. It looks like the light is good as the rest of the pictures have a nice quality to them.
Cheers Mark
Very nice:)
wonderful colors!
Excellent exposure and detail – looks great. I’ve never been to the Bahamas… has to be better than New England in January!
Blow me away! You did a great job getting the colors and lighting just perfect. Fabulous!
Thanks for the comments. I’m always so happy when someone stops to leave a message.
Montucky: I’m glad I lugged my camera too. Just don’t talk about it with my family! 🙂
Tom: Better than Wisconsin in January, too.
Mark, Jules: I think the lighting was luck, but I’m glad luck is in my pocket some of the time.
beautiful windows, nice shot. hmmm curious how this would look after applying some perspective correction in ps? either way, nicely done!
Ankush: Thanks for all your comments. Glad you’re back. As far as perspective in ps, sorry your talent and knowledge are way beyond mine. If I ever get Photoshop, maybe I’ll catch up – or at least get a bit closer!
