https://gottbs.com/chemical-products-laboratory/ Much of the Driftless Region is in southwestern Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa and southeastern Minnesota. The term “driftless” refers to the land which escaped the “drifting” of the last glacier — the Wisconsin Glacier — about 100,000 years ago. Deep valleys and high ridges are predominant, and there is no drift, or debris, which the retreating glacier deposited in other regions of Wisconsin.

Wow, what a pretty sight! I’ve never ween a sunflower field like that but have always wondered. We buy sunflower seeds for the birds in 40-lb bags and I know it takes a lot of plants to provide all of those seeds.
a good old sunflower always brings a smile to me
A beautifully composed landscape.
There is nothing that compares to a field of sunflowers..with their faces all turned towards the sun. Fantastic scene and image!!!
Sunflower Fields Forever!!! Every day you post a new photo that makes me think THAT is my favorite, but I think this really is my favorite. I want it. I want to go there. Sunflowers!!! That rock wall! The gentle waves of hills, fields and flowers and that drop-dead gorgeous sky. Sigh……Incredible, Bo!
Beautifully composed landscape. Were you listening to The Beatles when you composed the photo?
