I'm a photographer, book-artist, traveler, naturalist, and creator of the Contemplative Creatives Journey, An Online Workshop and Community and Desert Wisdom Cards and Workshops. Though often not well known, I find the desert a welcoming place - a healing space. Its mysteries and gifts transformed me several years ago. Since that first encounter, I return again and again to fill my well in what most people think of as a desolate region. I'd love to share my desert discoveries and wisdom with you. Please subscribe to receive my five part mini email course The Gifts of the Desert. It's my gift to you.

I’ve landed here via a link from Giraffe Head Tree. She spoke so highly of your photography, and I agree…you have marvelous images here. You shoot the same type of subjects that always inspire me. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Glad you visited and commented, Kat. Love that we seek similar for inspiration. Thanks.
That’s pretty! It’s also an illustration of optimism.
A little optimism in the beginning of November is a great way to start this season! Thanks for the prompt.
I’m amazed it survived the wind we had! That’s one tough (but pretty!) little leaf. 🙂
Well, Robin, it’s the only one that did! Looks pretty proud, huh?
I love Gingko leaves…especially when they are golden in the fall. Love the simplicity of this image.
You are right. There is something about a golden Gingko that turns my heart.
This is lovely. I really like the simplicity with the lone leaf with bare branches behind.
Thanks, Anna. I wanted to keep the branches OOF, took about 10 shots, and this is the one where wind cooperated–finally!
Ah, the lovely Gingko. They’re only now beginning to turn their bright yellow autumnal best here! Love this, Bo!
Ah, then you’ll have some practice time with the golden ginkos, yes?
BTW, I have been trying to post a comment on the oak Savannah photo but my computer … or some computer gremlin … simply will not let me. SO, please know just how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE that photo. The stark, stately trunks, reaching branches, misty background, luscious grasses…I Just Love It. Take THAT computer gremlins…sorry I had to put this comment on your Gingko post!
I moved your comment to the right photo. Crazy computer gremlins. Don;t you just hate when they lurk about!
Exquisite bright color and detail. Nice!
Thanks, Marcie. It was about the only yellow left in the whole park!
Lovely but lonely leaf… 😉
It does look lonely. I’d rather see the trees jam filled with leaves, but November in Wisconsin finds al the trees bare. 🙁
“Sunny Gingko … Chasing the clouds away !!!”
Very cheery.
Cheery for now. Soon the snow flies, but then you are one of those snow lovers, aren’t you, Gandalf? Thanks for your kind words.
Thought it was a butterfly at first glance. Hehe.
