https://www.mssbizsolutions.com/y1m6wy3 This is the Senita cactus, one of the three largest cactus species found in a few areas of the United States. The Organ Pipe Cactus and the Saguaro Cactus (third photo in linked post) are the other two specimens that are found in the southern Sonora Desert in the US. They are more abundant in Mexico.

enter Senita usually grow about 10 to 12 feet tall and it looks very similar to the Organ Pipe Cactus, except for the long and bristly gray spines which densely cover the top third or so of each mature cactus arm.

Buy Diazepam Us The word senita is derived from a Spanish root meaning “old” and could roughly be translated “little old woman,” which I suppose seems appropriately named.

https://www.iql-nog.com/2025/01/19/4rlkwmg1bn One of the things I found most interesting when I was doing a little research on the senita — the senita is very long-lived. According to A Natural History of the Sonoran Desert, published by the Arizona – Sonora Desert Museum, “when sites in Baja California photographed in 1905 were revisited in the 1990s, nearly every senita was still present.” The book didn’t say, but I’d love to know how much these cacti grew in that nearly 100 year period.

Ordering Tramadol Online Cod I am more than careful when it comes to touching the plants in the desert. This is extremely hard for me to stop, because I learn best through the techniques of visual and tactile (or kinesthetic) learning.

https://thelowegroupltd.com/cdiigmyqje3 I want to get as close as I can to see the tiniest visual detail AND I want to touch all the parts of the cactus, too. Not so wise, but I did touch the gray spines of the senita — very carefully, I assure you — and they were very bristly and sharp.

https://www.amyglaze.com/191kh4m Though there were many years in my life when I seldom saw a sunrise, I seem to be making up for all those lost sunrises because I try not to miss the day’s beginning if the weather cooperates. I can think of no better way to begin each day by waking in darkness, puttering around the house while pulling on the right layers of clothing, and heading outdoors just as the sky begins to lighten.

https://bettierose.co.uk/6auflvf Usually I grab my ready-to-go camera which I always set the prior evening for early morning photos. I participate in a nightly ritual by preparing my camera and gear for the next day — clean the lenses and filters, check the battery and memory card, format the camera if needed, check the white balance and other settings.

Buying Tramadol When I take my time in the evening, there are no hurried morning exits while I search menus and spin dials on my camera.

watch I like to take my mornings slow, wander in the yard, no agenda, no particular photograph in mind, just a time for the awakening sounds of nature and keen observation of what is going on around me.

go site I recall the first lines in the poem The Waking by T.S. Eliot. I say these lines most mornings while I stand in the leaf covered grass, grounding myself, waiting, watching, a morning prayer of a different sort:

I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.

see Eventually I discovered for myself the utterly simple prescription for creativity: be intensely yourself.
Don’t try to be outstanding; don’t try to be a success; don’t try to do pictures for others to look at — just please yourself.
~ Ralph Steiner

Tramadol Bula Anvisa I live opposites.

I am a nester by nature, satisfied with quiet days strung one after another. I savor the nurturing space my family and I have created in our home. I like natural rhythms, routine.

But I am also a wanderer, and explorer. I yearn for travel, new places to see, absorb. I look forward to times when I can embark on adventures, near and far. Peek through an unseen space and discover gold.

This is my goal: to carry my home within me, and so be at home wherever I am.

I am imagination. I can see what the eyes cannot see. I can hear what the ears cannot hear. I can feel what the heart cannot feel. ~ Peter Nivio Zarlenga

Ever get carried away with your imagination as you look at the most ordinary of scenes?

This photograph of the prairie as it is breaking apart and shedding its finery in preparation for winter is straightforward. A few coneflower seed heads plus a stem in focus in the foreground, and more seed heads — out of focus — in the background.

And suddenly I no longer see the dying autumn prairie:

I see the “Three Tops,” a premier singing group in Prairie Land, at their microphone. Singing their hearts out as their fanatic audience sways to their rhythmic beat. Many in the audience are singing in their seats, but a few of the “Three Tops” most ardent fans are squealing and dancing at the bottom of the stage.

Hmm . . . Ursula Le Guin wrote, “I doubt that the imagination can be suppressed. If you truly eradicated it in a child, he would grow up to be an eggplant.”

Action and reaction, ebb and flow, trial and error, change – this is the rhythm of living. Out of our over-confidence, fear; out of our fear, clearer vision, fresh hope. And out of hope, progress. ~ Bruce Barton

Change is in the air, and it’s not only the changing of autumn trees.Though the change in the trees has been spectacular this year.

In a few hours, I’ll be getting on a plane and traveling to Long Island to celebrate the wedding of my older daughter. There will be a wine tasting, dinner under the stars, a clam bake and picnic on the beach, oh yes, and a wonderful marriage ceremony. Another spectacular event for this autumn.

If I’m not around for the next few days, I’m either traveling, taking photographs on Long Island, drying my eyes, or eating wedding cake!

Congratulations to the happy couple, Jeanne and Judy!
