Just west of Madison I came upon a friendly winter sight – the biggest snowman I’ve ever seen, complete with four tractor and truck tires for a hat and red Wisconsin Badger “we’re # 1” foam gloves. Guessing this snow guy is about 25 feet high and 15 feet wide.
This is considered entertainment of the highest sort in our wintry land. Great smile on the guy, hmm?
Anyone ever see a bigger snowman???
Hey the sun finally decided to shine, and Mr. Snowman looks even more grand with a few highlights.
And a reader sent me a link for the BIGGEST snowman, which happens to be a snow lady. Gotta share this – the snow lady even has skis for eyelashes. Now how sweet is that. (Figures. She ‘s from another wintery state – Maine.)
Is he made from bales of hay? There is a farm close to my hometown (Western Illinois) that builds a huge snowman each year.
Love the tires stacked on his head for a hat!!!
Just snow smushed tight with a front loader. We’ve had way too much snow – people are just looking for something creative to do with all the stuff. 🙂
Uhh…that would be NO! My gosh he’s huge!
Fantastic! Definitely gotta be the biggest snowman I’ve ever seen. Gotta love the accoutrements!!!!
very cute. a lot of work
This guy is big, but you’re right, the one in Maine is bigger. However, is that a good thing? For skiers, it seems to me that the snow should be on the slopes. Still very funny.
Thanks for sharing this and brightening up my winter! He’s simply adorable.
How cute is he, might as well enjoy all that snow:)
How cool is that? Great snowman. He has a fantastic smile.
That is one huge snowman. The tires really gives it perspective. I’ve never seen a snowman this huge.
Took a look at the snowlady. Someone’s been trying too hard on that one.
I prefer this sweet guy, his smile and the angle of his happy arms. Brilliant.
In Scotland we have snow, just not this much. Not very much snow this year at all, actually. Guess I know who’s been directing the clouds.
We’ve had loads of iced roads when no traffic moved – not even the gritters – but no snow. Hmm…
Thank for showing your photos.
