I create my own auto-biography with the photographs I take. ~ Bo Mackison
On the road to Wisconsin, but recalling the many days I stayed in Arizona with great fondness, the many desert sights I visited with deep appreciation for nature’s beauty, and the many photographs I’ve created that will inspire life-long memories.
The photograph is an abstract botanical of one of the many Torch cactus flowers I photographed at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum a few days ago.

This effect on this flower looks so good Bo. I really love the colours, and your quote! 🙂
I realized it was true, Joanne. As I follow my photos through the years, my life is there, right before my eyes!
The photograph is gorgeous!
I love your quote. (And that you are quoting yourself!)
I spent a lot of this weekend putting small prints from this year’s lens-clicking into a journal. It is the most powerful form of journal / memoir that I can imagine, it is simply how things were, for me, through all my clouds of sadness and gladness, just how they were.
Photos are such a healing medium, Joanna. I don;t know where I would be if I hadn’t chosen to photograph with intention.
I love the soft edges of the blossom & how the colors blend into each other.
Yes, the colors blend so beautifully. Thanks, Gandalf.
I love this one. Truly love it. It’s so beautiful. The light, the colors, and the softness are wonderful.
I love it, too, when the abstracts work. I do them often, but I don;t achieve what I am working towards with most of them.
