βThe Road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, and I must follow, if I can, pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.βΒ ~ J.R.R Tolkien
There are new roads to follow, new pursuits, new people to meet, new things to see, new photography projects to begin.
Anticipating the beginning, once again, of a journey that leads me through the heart of the country, south and then west, until I reach the deserts and mountains.
Soon. Soon.

These winter scenes are absolutely magical. I’m surprised you haven’t headed south to Tucson??? Isn’t it about time??
Yes. Yes, it is time!
Gorgeous, gorgeous photograph!
Now that the holidays are winding down I am getting around to one of my new year intentions to visit blogs from Project 137. So glad I came by! You have a lovely space here and your photograph made my morning! Living in So. Cal. this isn’t a scene I see very often. Happy New Year!
So happy to see you making a blog round. It’s a commendable goal, think I’ll join you on a rainy day.
Stunning,Bo! I can almost smell the snowy air!
Does snow smell, Debi? I’ve wondered that before. The cold air has a certain feel, maybe that is it!
This looks a lot better than the pitiful snow in Missouri. Beautiful, crisp and cold. Seems like an adventure could be had down that road. Love the quote. Great post.
You have pitiful snow in MO? Yeah, I can imagine. Well, the snow is melting in Wisconsin as I write. It IS a great quote, isn’t it!!!
What a crisp, clean, beautiful scene!
Sweet! I like snow like this. π
A sight for sore eyes. Lovely snow.
Maybe you should go skiing before it melts. Or has it already disappeared.
Beautiful shot,Bo. Many years ago my mom went cross country from NJ to Montana. She said Wisconsin was the loveliest state she saw. I see her point. The quote from LOTR doesn’t hurt either. π Love your blog.
Wisconsin is truly a lovely state. I seem to prefer it from April to November, but I used to love it all year round. Not much of a winter outdoor person now, and I so love nature. But it’s pretty from an inside view!
Lovely winter scene. The snow is gone here now, but I hear it might return again soon.
