Sand Dunes in Blue

follow After leaving Santa Fe, we spent a couple of days camping at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in southern Colorado. I wanted to photograph the dunes at sunrise. The temperatures had dropped into the teens in the early morning hours and iced the sculptured sand, making the trek up the dunes rather easy. It’s much easier to climb frozen dunes than to sink with every step into soft sand.

Buy Xanax Online Overnight Santa Fe’s history is steeped in its religious heritage. The majestic Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, just one block east of the historic Santa Fe Plaza, was dedicated in 1886. The church is currently being renovated, but it still full of mystique even covered with interior scaffolding and canvas tarps.

https://thesentinelgroup.com/round-up-lawsuit/ Our first night in Santa Fe, we watched storm clouds gathering over the city. Forecasters gave dire warnings of a foot of snow in the nearby Sangre de Cristo mountains and possible accumulation on the streets of this high elevation city. Since rain/sleet/snow were all possibilities, we decided to stay in Santa Fe another night and then head into the mountains when sunshine was expected to make a comeback on Wednesday morning..

go to link Santa Fe is an interesting destination, even when it is rainy and cold. There are many museums in the city and the Plaza area offers dozens and dozens of stores and galleries for browsing, oohing and ahhing, and inspiration gathering. And need I even mention the Southwest eateries? I thought not.

He is a man who truly has a loving relationship with the food he prepares. He uses the best  ingredients and we watched him turn them into masterpieces right before our eyes. Some dishes were so simple, it was amazing. But then with a deft flick of his wrist and an added ingredient or two, the simple became special.

Pork loin stuffed with bleu cheese and figs; hummus so full of flavor and freshness, I will never want to eat another bite from a plastic container; a pear and apple souffle that melted in my mouth.
