Buying Diazepam Online “True restfulness, though, is a form of awareness, a way of being in life. It is living ordinary life with a sense of ease, gratitude, appreciation, peace and prayer. We are restful when ordinary life is enough.”
~ Ronald Rolheiser

There is a place on the other side of town that always offers a magical experience when I cross its threshold.

Order Valium Online Europe No matter the weather outside, when I step through the heavy double doors into the Bolz Conservatory at Madison’s Olbrich Botanical Gardens, I enter a tropical paradise — exotic plants, orchids, koi ponds, meandering paths through thick greenery, rushing waterfalls, birds in flight.

The Conservatory has over 650 plants from the tropics and sub-tropics found throughout the world.

https://www.fandangotrading.com/jfvfw9c Once I am inside the 50 foot high glass pyramid, I get a reprieve from December’s cold and snow. Inside it is a balmy 80˚F today and the humidity is high, high enough to repeatedly fog my camera glass.

https://everitte.org/kp2q1owoxd No worries.

https://marcosgerente.com.br/br22cpgx1 I take a few photos, but mostly I sit and take in the warmth.

I spend most of my time simply absorbing the experience.

Buy Diazepam 10 Mg Online Truly, what pleasure there’s to be found in watching drops of moisture fall from wide green umbrella plants, in studying the camouflaged quail as they scuttle from one plant to the next, in noticing how brilliantly the orange koi glide through the rushing waters.

Buy Diazepam Online India I re-discover the calming effects of studying just a few leaves, letting my eyes trace the pronounced veins on this deep green plant, noticing the puckered textures, droplets of water beading on the waxy surfaces.

What a great threshold to cross, what a great space to pause and rest.

click It is mid-day and mid-week, and I am alone in the tropics for much of my visit. The gardens are typically a busy place teeming with visitors of all ages, all looking for a warm place, a break from wintry weather.

https://trevabrandonscharf.com/t5h8ntjt I consider myself especially fortunate as I sit amidst the plants and absorb the energy from the tropical space in solitude.

Desert Art – Chihuly’s Neodymium Reeds and Black Niijima Floats

Chihuly's Neodymium Reeds 2013

I love botanical gardens, I love the desert, and I love Dale Chihuly’s huge glass art installations.

Buy Valium Roche 10Mg When I discovered that the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix was hosting another Chihuly exhibition I made plans to attend. As members of the Gardens, we made advance reservations for the 4 pm to 8 pm slot on a recent Friday evening. Choosing the later hours gave me opportunity to photograph the many exhibits during daylight, at dusk, and in the dark when the sculptures were illuminated.

get link In Finland we started making these long, cylindrical pieces that looked like spears. This was an exciting new form. It was the first time we ever made anything like that. Sometimes I call them spears and sometimes I call them reeds. They can be taken anywhere—they can go outside. They are very strong pieces, and they are very dramatic. ~ Dale Chihuly

There were at least a dozen installations, large installations featuring intricately shaped glass art.

click here Since I had the luxury of time, and perfect weather, I studied each installation from several different perspectives. I tried to see each installation as a whole, from a distant path or in the desert setting amidst saguaro and organ pipe cacti. Then I experimented, moving closer and closer until I could take a close up of a part of each installation.

This particular installation featured reeds and floats.

Buy Valium Reviews There were nearly a hundred glass reeds in varying hues of purple, and in opalescent, dotted, and clear glass. There were several globes, Black Niijima Floats, set among the reeds.

The black floats were among my favorites.

https://everitte.org/l7wu484wux I loved how the globes captured the reflections of the adjacent purple reeds, the overhanging palo verde, and the cacti.

follow url I’ve never done anything like the Floats. They are probably the most monumental-looking, since there’s no reminiscence of a container shape. Just because they are so big, the Floats are technically, or let’s say physically, the most difficult things that we have ever done. Even though a sphere or a ball is about the easiest form you can make in glass, when you get to this scale, up to forty inches in diameter, it becomes extremely difficult. ~ Dale Chihuly

The Pattern of Ferns

Ferns in the Conservatory

Patterns of Ferns © 2012 Bo Mackison

The miracle is not to fly in the air, or walk on the water, but to walk on the earth. ~ Chinese Proverb

The ferns were in thick clumps in the conservatory at the New York Botanical Gardens, and offered plenty of opportunities to shoot them in different positions, layers, color combinations. This photo ended up as my favorite – very simple, a pair of ferns, side by side.

Red Bridge Reflection

Reflection in Pond at Allen Centennial Garden in Madison Wisconsin

Red Bridge Reflection @ 2010 Bo Mackison

Interesting colors towards the end of the day while visiting Allen Centennial Gardens on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison. Love the mix of bright colors – yellow-greens from the trees’ reflections, the bridge’s reflection in bright red, and the blue-green tinted lily pads.
